Suicide Prevention Lifeline

Utah Department of Health has a Health Resource Line at 1-888-222-2542, staffed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The hotline employs bilingual staff and has access to over-the-phone interpretation for more than 150 languages.

Warm Line

Staffed 8am–11pm daily. Individuals may need a listening ear as they heal and recover from their own personal struggles. 24/7 Crisis Support

Nationwide Crisis Support: Text HOME to 74174. Crisis Text Line is for any crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds (secure platform) and will help you move from a hot moment to a cool one. You can also cal the Utah Crisis Line: 1-800-2473-TALK

Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams

Available 24/7/365: The Utah Crisis Line sends out mobile crisis outreach teams (MCOT) in many areas throughout the state. They provide fast, free, face-to-face or virtual video response. MCOT is for Utah residents who are having a mental health challenge. Youth and adult services teams are available and offer consultation and support to individuals, families, schools, treatment providers, and first responders. Call 1-800-273-8255 (TALK).

SafeUT Crisis Chat and Tip Line

Available 24/7/365. A Utah service that provides real-time, emotional support and crisis prevention to students, parents, and educators. Confidential and password-protected services, free to use and download, real-time, two-way communication with SafeUT crisis counselors available 24/7 through the chat feature or with a phone call (833-372-3388) to talk about whatever is on your mind.

SafeUTNG

An app for National Guard Members (active duty), their partners/family members, and civilian personnel. The app gives you 24/7 access to licensed mental health counselors by phone (833-3SAFENG), live chat, or submitting a confidential tip. The SafeUTNG app can be download via Google Play or Apple App Store.
