S - Self Care. Exercise - Meditation - Healthy Foods.

  • Just a little bit of exercise each day can help with serotonin production to help balance your mood.

  • Adding meditation to your routine for just a few minutes each day can help you relax and calm anxiety.

  • Eating healthy foods will help keep you ship shape and fit.

Most importantly! Look after yourself so you can look after others.


A - Awareness. Keep up to date with new recommendations.

Remember wearing a mask in public, social distancing and washing your hands can help slow the spread of germs.

  • Wearing a homemade cloth face covering helps save surgical and N95 masks for healthcare workers.

  • It’s ok to go outside, take walks and bike rides with family.

  • You can wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.

If you develop a cough, fever, difficulty breathing or are exposed to someone with Covid-19, contact a medical provider.

F - Friends. Make sure to check in with friends and loved ones.

  • Jump on a video chat.

  • Text or pick up the phone.

  • Imagine writing someone a good old fashioned letter? Give it a go.

Try to minimize negative social media.

Staying in touch helps us stay afloat.


E - Express. Pay attention to your and other’s mental wellness.

  • Remember to ask for help if you feel different.

  • Listen to friends if someone seems different.

  • Talk about things that are overwhelming.

Spending time doing things you enjoy and taking breaks throughout the day can help reset your mental wellness batteries.

There is no shame in experiencing mental health issues. If this is the first time or recurring, someone is always there to help.
